Faolan nods in response to this. He's not honestly surprised with the other man's reaction, considering his opinion on a lot of other things. His motivations for joining the Night Council as a Guardian, for example. Everything seems to be so... So wholesome and good. Of course he should believe in such a thing as destiny or fate or whatever it is that he's hinting at. Still he can't help but speak up to say, in response to the other man's questioning...
