The question causes an internal debate. She doesn't know how much she can trust him, but a werewolf should understand being on guard about the Night Council, right? And if she's going to do what's spinning around in her head, she needs someone to talk to. Someone to help her focus her thoughts. Hopefully without too much judgement.
