Something tells Faolan that knowledge isn't the only thing that the woman has a thirst for, though he's not about to come right out and say as much to her. She has let on that she's affected by the Hunt as well, after all, and she's let on enough for him to get a definite impression of Other about her. He knows enough not to push her from there. At least, he hopes that he does.

"If knowledge is a hobby, then what do you do for a living?" Faolan asks, raising an eyebrow at her. "To be able to acquire such rare finds as you say that is." He's certainly not splurging any spare cash on rare books himself, in his job as a Private Investigator. Not that that's what he'd be spending it on in the first place, but that's neither here nor there.
