It wasn't to say Mab didn't take care of her own. She did, with a vengeance. But she also didn't really put up with people who would let themselves be weak either. So it was kind of a crapshoot. She took care of those who took care of themselves. Which came out to the same thing in the end, but you got a little power to help along the way. And possibly the most horrible training you could ever endure.
