She's still keeping one ear out, though. Malia's still on edge, but now because she has to keep Stiles alive, not just herself. The smart thing to do would be to go back inside, but Malia's not going to back down just yet. They both have every right to be out here. If whatever it is wants them gone, it can just show up and tell them instead of skulking in the shadows.

If Stiles makes it known he wants to go back inside, though, Malia won't tell him no.
