"Meta-human, you say?" He gives a little smirk. "Well, ain't that fancy."

For Jackson, it's less that he feels that he's treated differently or poorly because he's witch. Quite the contrary, he's just got more of an appreciation for the normal world, and feels like the special folk don't grant it the respect it deserves. Humans aren't less because they aren't magical or whatever-- they're craftier, smarter because of it, making more out of less.

But it's a weird argument that Jackson doesn't feel like getting into, now that he's gotten comfortable and buzzed. So instead, he probes.

"So what does that mean exactly? 'Metahuman.' What can you do?"
