"They do have the money for better everything, really, but thanks to me over the years, they think the wiring in the shop is impossible to fix." A sheepish expression takes over her, feeling bad that she more or less made the owner throw in the towel on making the shop more modernised beyond new coffee machines and decent internet.

At least it has a unique (if hazardous) charm to it...?

Oh! Right. The cops could get involved if they're not careful. She looks at Willard and gives her biggest and most comforting smile. Sometimes she forgets that people can't go invisible and phase through walls to get out of trouble if someone comes there way. She really needs to keep that in mind these days. "I promise! You won't get in trouble while we're there. It'll only take a few minutes to get the front door opened. They never did bother to change the key's hiding place in the last five years.

"Hang on--" Clara turns towards the shop and is quick to enter it, going through a wall to go through a row of mugs that were decorated on a stand next to the counter. To a normal person, the sight of a key floating out of a coffee mug would have been strange.

To Willard and Aradia, however, it must be something considered tame along with the coffee shop's door slowly opening now that she has it unlocked after a few fumbles with the lock and handle. There's an audible creak that isn't there most of the time but Clara has come to accept the fact ghosts doing things makes everything generally spookier than usual.
