Joscelin is just about to stake the whining newly-turned vampire to get him to shut up. He's too new to know who Joss is, of course; he's just looking for someone to vent to. Which is annoying because Joscelin had just seen him telling the exact same story to the pet store ghost Joscelin had met some time before.
