"Well, here at Hillingdon, I've sorta fallen into a mechanic and repair sort of function but the MGA? That's just fun," she says. "I couldn't believe my luck when I saw it just sitting in a scrap yard, all beat up. It needs serious work, but I have most of the bodywork done."

Right now, it's in need of sanding and scrubbing but the bodywork looks good. It's an old car, too, but that doesn't mean it isn't gorgeous at this stage.

"I took apart the engine and put it back together not took long after you got here. She should run better than new. I've got some more pieces coming in - some bumpers, the wheels, and pretty much the whole interior. Finished the electronics, though. That was pretty easy."
