Ghoul blinks and lifts his head, appearing a little confused until he realizes he's been blessed with a distraction in the form of Lillian. Thank god. He sets his phone down, snorting out a laugh at her question. No one could possibly pay him enough to go back to school. Saying such things doesn't give off the best impression of him (as if anyone with eyes starts off with one), but it's true. Books, essays, gibberish formulas, worksheets, tests... Those are all things he isn't exactly excellent at. Typical case of not being engaged by traditional education methods.

And hard to follow sometimes. "Somebody on the Council is gonna challenge a law for me, I just gotta like... write up an official thing for him. Thought maybe there'd be some examples or somethin' in one'a these but all I found was a headache."
